The film is a low budget independent Romanian production from Andrei Creţulescu of Kinosseur Productions (www.kinosseur.ro) and Dan Burlac of Elefant Film, with the support of Zenith Media (www.zenithmedia.ro ) and HBO Romania (www.hbo.ro ). Digital Cube (www.digitalcube.ro ) handled the color grading, and the sound was mixed at Chainsaw Europe (www.chainsaweurope.com ). The film was shot on location in Bucharest in the fall of 2011.
Piersic wrote the script and is one of the leading actors. "It's a fresh approach to genre cinema - and something quite different compared to the new Romanian cinema," Creţulescu told FNE.
The Romanian cinema release is set for fall 2012. The movie has already been sold to HBO Romania for a pay TV premiere in summer 2013. Piersic Jr is also a stage actor and director and a writer. He made his film acting debut in a leading role in Radu Gabrea's Gruber's Journey/Călătoria lui Gruber in 2009.
