Admissions rose by 9% in 2015 compared to 2014 while general box office rose by 10.48%. According to the National Film Centre, admissions were 11,166,861 and gross was 46,487,371 EUR / 206,868,801 RON in 2015.

CNC is also estimating an increase for European and domestic films regarding admissions and box office, but the final results will be made public at the end of February 2016. In 2014 the market share of domestic films was 2.11% compared to 2.86% in 2013, while European films had a market share of 8.61% in 2014 compared to 3.71% in 2013.
