The jury was composed of Marie Pierre Duhamel Muller (president), Elena Cristodoulidou, Enrico Vannuci, Gabriel Dettre and Cristian Tudor Popescu. Rafi Pitts was a special guest of the festival this year.
The Bucharest International Film Festival is the longest feature film festival in the capital city of Romania. Aside the competition and the traditional section BEST for Kids, the festival had two new sections this year, Giornate degli Autori (with five films screened at the Venice Film Festival in 2015) and Le Film Francophone.
The festival was organised by Fundația CHARTA with the support of the National Film Center, the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN) and the Romanian Cultural Institute, under the Patronage of Prince Radu of Romania.
