The Romanian representative of the film, Anca Romanescu, told FNE that the movie has already been sold in Greece, France, Argentina, Switzerland, Benelux, ex-Yugoslavia, Brazil, Columbia, and Sweden.
Sales agent Coach 14 (www.coach14.com) is in negociations for other territories.
Police, Adjective is currently in competition at the Transylvania IFF at Cluj-Napoca (Romania). The Romanian premiere is set for July 3.
The film is produced by Porumboiu's company, 42km Film (www.42kmfilm.ro ) together with Periscop Pictures. Half of the €700,000 buget was granted by the National Centre for Cinema (http://www.cncinema.abt.ro).
The film was also supported by HBO Romania, and made in collaboration with Raza Studio (www.razastudio.ro) and Racova (www.racova.ro).
