Rastislav Steranka is New Head of Promotion at Slovak Film Institute

BRATISLAVA: Rastislav Steranka is replacing Alexandra Strelková as head of promotion at the Slovak Film Institute. Steranka will be internationally introduced during the European Film Market at Berlin International Film Festival 2017.

Alexandra Strelková officially announced during the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2016 that she would leave her position as head of promotion at the Slovak Film Institute at the end of 2016.

„My twelve years in the Institute as the director of our National Film Centre are over. As of today, I am handing my interesting film promotion agenda and my dream team in the hands of Rastislav Steranka,“ Strelková says in her official statement.

Rastislav Steranka worked for Creative Europe Desk Slovakia together with Vladimír Štric.

Strelková will stay with the Slovak Film Institute as a part-time collaborator until the end of February 2017.
