IGRICs are Slovakia’s oldest film awards with a 26 years history and one of the two most important film awards in Slovakia along with the Sun in a Net awards.
First edition was organised in 1967, but due to political reasons it was cancelled after August 1968. IGRIC was recovered in 1993.
