The Best Documentary Award went to Martin Šulík for Emilia / Emília. The Czech/Slovak/Hungarian coproduction Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light / Tonko, Slávka a kúzelné svetlo directed by Filip Pošivač received the prize for best animated film.
During the ceremony, the Slovak actress Božidara Turzonovová was honoured for exceptional contribution to Slovak audiovisual culture.
The titles submitted for Sun in a Net Awards were screened during the Slovak Film Week, which took place a week before the ceremony. The nominated titles are also available for Slovak audiences on the VOD platform dafilms.sk.
