Soul At Peace Wins Top Slovak Film Prize

BRATISLAVA: The Sun in the Net awards for Slovak films of 2008 and 2009 were announced at a gala ceremony on 27 April at the Slovak National Theatre.

The winners were chosen by members of the Slovak Film and Television Academy (www.sfta.sk) from among the nominees which included 16 fiction and 15 documentary feature films, 5 short fiction films and 12 animation films. The awards take their name from the Slovak classic film by Štefan Uher The Sun in the Net (Slnko v sieti, 1962).
