"The south of Slovakia is studded with little apricot orchards, which seem - at least at first sight - to be islands of romantic and peaceful life; hence the title of the film," said fledgling screenwriter Peter Lipovský, who wrote the film specifically for the lead actress, his wife Szidi Tobias (Kiss of Passion, Orbis Pictus). The cast includes Attila Mokos (Soul at Peace, Broken Promise), György Cserhalmi (Želary, Tenderness) and Peter Nádasdi.

The co-producers of the €1,045,000 dramaare D.N.A. Production (www.dnaproduction.sk) and Slovak Television (www.stv.sk). The film received €564,297 from the Slovak Ministry of Culture (www.culture.gov.sk).
