LJUBLJANA: Norwegian broadcast service provider Norkring (www.norkring.com) announced it is ceasing operations in Slovenia beginning in early March 2012.
The decision follows the end of broadcasting of Modern Times Group's TV3 (www.mtg.se) a month earlier.
Norkring operates Slovenia's second digital terrestrial network. TV3 was broadcast on Norkring's B multiplex. The company had a ten year license and began operations on 1 December 2010.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
