The film will be distributed by Continental Film (www.continentalfilm.si), which distributed it in Slovenia. The Trip/Izlet is the most successful Slovenian film of 2012 so far. "We are very happy with the results in Slovenian cinemas, where it's extremely difficult for a drama genre film to make over 10,000 admissions, as we had expected," producer Aleš Pavlin told FNE.

Pavlin is counting on over 15,000 admissions in Slovenia by the end of 2012. Another Slovenian film, the comedy Kruha in iger/Bread and Circuses, is in second place in the local charts. with some 8,000 admissions so far this year. The Trip/Izlet was also a festival hit, awarded in Sarajevo (www.sff.ba), Montpellier (www.cinemed.tm.fr), Warsaw (www.wff.pl) and Triest (www.triestefilmfestival.it).
