Vrabec replaces Jurenc at PRO PLUS

    Central European Media Enterprises (CME, www.cetv-net.com ) has named Pavel Vrabec to replace outgoing general manager Marijan Jurenc at its Slovenian company PRO PLUS.

    {mosimage} PRO PLUS (http://24ur.com/) broadcasts three TV stations: Kanal A (www.kanal-a.si), TV PIKA (www.tvpika.net) and Slovenia's most successful commercial TV station POP TV (http://poptv.si/), and owns several popular web portals. Jurenc handed over his position to his deputy Pavel Vrabec who joined POP TV in 1996 as marketing director.

    Jurenc stated that: "after many interesting and challenging years of my function as general I decided to devote to new personal challenges. I think it is appropriate to decide for a new path when you are at the top of you strength... I don't doubt in my decision, especially knowing that my function now belongs to Pavel Vrabec, who we can put many credits for today leading position of our company."

    Jurenc is expected to stay in the company, but his role is not officially known yet. Vrabec has not announced any major changes, but plans to continue with current operations.
