BUDAPEST: HBO Central Europe announced the launch of HBO GO, an internet streaming service for HBO subscribers in Slovenia in partnership with Telemach širokopasovne komunikacije, on 19 May 2011. The service was simultaneously launched in Serbia and in Bosnia and Herzogovina.
The service will be available while subscribers are travelling in neighboring territories Croatia, MonteNegro, Bulgaria, and Macedonia as well.
HBO Central Europe is headquartered in Budapest. It provides basic and premium channels to 14 countries in the region, including: Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
