Adana Golden Boll FF: September

    September, which had its world premiere in the Montreal World Film Festival on 25 August 2011, screens in the Turkish national competition of the Adana Golden Bull Film Festival (17-25 September 2011, www.goldenbollfilmfestival.com)..

    {mosimage}The film was shot in just three weeks in 2010, in only 3 weeks in several areas of Istanbul. September is the melancholic story of a goldsmith, Yusuf, who works in the Grand Bazaar. The director Cemil Agacikoglu is a photographer who previously shot several short films and music videos.

    The lead role is played by Gorkem Yeltan, who also appeared in Wrong Rosary which received the Tiger Award at the 2009 Rotterdam Film Festival.

    {mosimage}The film is produced by Arti Film (www.artifilm.com.tr), a known TV programme production company in Turkey. It will be released on 30 September 2011 by distributor Medyavizyon (www.meydavizyon.com.tr).
