The festival's main award the Golden Tulip was given in memory of Sakir Eczacibasi who passed away in January 2010 and who had been a long-time sponsor and supporter of the event.

The prize for best film in the international competition went to The Misfortunates directed by Felix Van Groeningen.

A special Jury Prize went to Sandrine Kiberlain in Mademoiselle Chambon directed by Stephane Brize.

The national competition the Golden Tulip for best film went to Vavien directed by Yagmur Taylan and Durul Taylan

With Turkish film scoring high at international festivals around the world the national competition was highly anticipated by international guests.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey gave a monetary prize of 50,000 TL to each of the above-mentioned winners.

The Best Actress Award to Senay Orak for her performance in Min Dit - Ben Gordum / The Children Of Diyarbakır
Best Actor Award to Tansu Bicer for his performance in Bes Sehir / Five Cities

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey gave a monetary prize of 10,000 TL to each of the above-mentioned winners.

Best Screenplay Award to Engin Gunaydin for his screenplay for Vavien
Best Director of Photography Award to Baris Ozbicer for his work in Bal / Honey
Best Music Award to Mustafa Biber for his work on Min Dit - Ben Gordum / The Children Of Diyarbakır
The Special Prize of the Jury to Bal / Honey by Semih Kaplanoglu.
