FNE at Adana Golden Boll Film Festival 2010 National Film competition: Oh Dear Oh Dear!

Oh Dear Oh Dear! from director Hakan Algul, rose to a strong second place showing among national films at the Turkish box office, following its release on 26 February, 2010. The film took in 21.7 million Turkish liras and had 2.45 million admissions.

After the success of the film, the production company started to shoot the sequel, which is expected to be release in January, 2011.

The movie's producer BKM film (www.bkm.com) is the company of popular Turkish comedian Yilmaz Erdogan, who has begun to produce comedy projects.

The film is a buddy-movie about a singer who came to Istanbul from Anatolia and an older bordello singer. Their journey begins with friendship, but continues as an escape from the mafia. The sequel will take place in Anatolia.

The lead characters are played by Ata Demirer, a comedian who appeared in two previous movies, and actress Demet Akbag who frequently stars in Yilmaz Erdogan's theater plays and films.
