{mosimage}This is Basarir's second film. His first film Love in Another Language (Baska Dilde Ask) was awarded at several festivals, including Adana and Antalya and at the Yesilcam Awards (Turkey's Oscars). The popular romantic-drama earned 1.1 million Turkish liras at the domestic box office.

Merry-Go-Round is the story of a family of three people built on the theme of incest in a dysfunctional family. Basarir again wrote the script of the film, and also cast an actress from his first film, Mert Firat, in the lead. The film is shot witAh the HD camera RED and will be shown at the Istanbul Film Festival in its re-edited version.

The film was co-produced by Kutu Film which is new in the industry and Most Production (www.mostproduction.com), primarily known as an advertising company. It is distributed by Cinefilm.
