East Silver calls for submissions!

    East Silver Market, specialized in Eastern and Central European documentary film, is open for submissions again! Submit your film to the biggest internationally recognized database of creative feature and television documentary films in the region.

    Open to: the latest documentary production from Eastern Europe

    East Silver is the first documentary market dedicated exclusively to Central and Eastern Europe. Its main goal is to provide an annual overview of new documentary releases, and to create a comprehensive catalogue and a digitized video library, accessible to a broad circle of film professionals - broadcasters, major film festivals, sales agents - throughout the year.

    We are now opening submission call for the upcoming East Silver Videolibrary, held within East Doc Platform, organized by the Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) in Prague, Czech Republic, in March, 5 – 10, 2013, in association with the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival. Films selected for East Silver Videolibrary will be included also in the 10th East Silver Market edition, annually held on the backdrop of the 17th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in October 23 – 28, 2013, Jihlava, Czech Republic.

    Deadline: January 11, 2013
    When: March 5 – 10, 2013
    Where: East Doc Platform,Prague, Czech Republic

    Submissions received before January 11, 2013, will be considered for the East Silver Videolibrary, held within East Doc Platform, and may benefit from the following bonuses:

    • Extended online display at East Silver Streaming (from March 2013 to October 2014)

    • Possibility for the inclusion in East Silver Caravan and access to international film festivals

    • Your submission will remain valid for the 17th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2013

     

    This call is open for completed documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe produced after January 1, 2012, which were not previously submitted for East Silver market.
