Documentary Rough Cut Boutique (DocuRCB) is a young yet promising initiative, a collaboration between Balkan Documentary Center (based in Sofia, Bulgaria) and Sarajevo Film Festival. Following the successful outcome of the last editions, we are happy to announce call for entries for the DocuRCB 2013 which will take place from 19-24 August in Sarajevo.

DocuRCB 2013 is a great chance for Balkan filmmakers to finalize their documentary projects under the excellent mentoring of top experts from the field.

The workshop will put together filmmakers of 5 promising projects at rough cut stage with the top documentary experts from Europe to work intensively together. The main goal behind DocuRCB is to offer coaching, expert advice and access to decision-makers that can have crucial influence on moving the projects forward in their final stage.

Each of the 5 chosen projects has a chance to win several awards and industry opportunities!

All sessions will be moderated by Rada Sesic, SFF documentary competition selector and Martichka Bozhilova, head of studies and director of Balkan Documentary Center, one of the most successful Bulgarian producers.

Documentary RCB is open for film projects:

• by authors from Albania, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Moldova.

• feature-length documentary films (60 min and more)

• in a rough cut stage

• for which there is a potential international and regional market.
