The MIPDoc International Pitch is offering the six selected finalists the opportunity to pitch live in front of an international panel of commissioning editors and broadcasters. It takes place on the first day of MIPDoc, the international documentary market happening on April 5-6, 2014.
The project’s selection for MIPDoc International Pitch will be done through the section Co-production seeking Funding in the MIPDoc Catalogue. EDN, which is official partner of the MIPDoc International Pitch, will select the best six projects to be pitched in Cannes.
The selection criteria for the pitching session:
- · programs with originality and overall appeal in storytelling, characters, look, story and themes
- · projects with potential to be developed and aired to international audiences.
At MIPDOC the live pitch session will gather an audience of producers, distributors and journalists from around the world including an international jury of commissioners, who will select the pitch winner. Among the jury members are:
