Filmmakers of upcoming science fiction film Iron Sky The Coming Race sent out the first draft of the script this Tuesday, September 23, written by American scribe Dalan Musson, to over a thousand of crowd funding supporters, allowing them to give feedback and further development ideas for the shooting draft.  Deadline for the comments is November 1, 2014.

“We’ve always been pioneering on with ideas other filmmakers shun upon, and sending the script to the fans is definitely an ultimate one of them”, director Timo Vuorensola. “Still, we retain a tight control over the process, and only the best and strongest feedback makes it to the film”.

So far the feedback has been encouraging.

 “From the first page to the last page it never got boring, always coming up with more crazy ideas and laughs”, one supporter writes. “I found the whole thing entertaining, and crazy”, another sums.

Producer Tero Kaukomaa also shares the faith in the fans:

”Hollywood could not make this movie because they would be afraid of losing the control by letting the fans too close”. He says. “For us it’s the opposite and the only way. With the power of our fans we can make this film happen and get it out there day & date across the world.”
