In the framework of the Distribution Support Programme, (Support for marketing and publicity costs), the Board granted its support to 36 films released before 31 December 2015. The total support granted amounts to €211 050.
Moreover, the Eurimages Board of Management recommended unanimously the renewal of the mandate of Mr Roberto Olla, Executive Director of Eurimages, for a four-year term running from 1 July 2016. This renewal for a fifth term reaffirms the confidence shown in the Executive Director’s commitment to his management of the Fund and his contribution to its development.
EURIMAGES is a support fund for cinema co-production, theatrical distribution and exhibition established by the Council of Europe in 1988 (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. –http://www.coe.int/Eurimages).
Since it was set up in 1988, EURIMAGES has supported 1742 European co-productions for a total amount of approximately 523 million euros.
