Up to 20 projects in production or post-production from all over Europe* will be selected for the COMING SOON pitching session and will have a dedicated schedule of individual meetings with Decision makers.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- directorial debuts (1st or 2nd film) are eligible to apply;
- feature films, documentaries or animated feature films are eligible to apply;
- projects must be in pre-production, production or post-production and scheduled to be completed and premiered between 2021 and early 2022.

SELECTION
The MPV International selection committee will evaluate the artistic value of the projects, their international and market potential.
Selection results will be announced in mid-March.
INDUSTRY SCREENINGS
Deadline: February 28, 2021
Upcoming Lithuanian projects selected for previous editions of Meeting Point – Vilnius and/or produced as majority or minority co-productions have the possibility to apply to the Industry Screening platform specifically organized for sales agents, press, programmers and professionals during the event.
ELIGIBLE CRITERIA
- Feature films, documentaries or animated feature films may apply;
- Films should schedule a possible premiere in 2021 or early 2022;
- It is possible to apply with: final cut, rough cut, film excerpt.

TALENTS NEST
Deadline: March 14, 2021
Talents Nest is the MPV initiative that aims to explore and nurture emerging professionals from Baltic, ex-Soviet and Caucasian countries by offering them industry and networking opportunities.
TARGET GROUP
The ideal participants are screenwriters, directors, producers, and film critics at the very initial stage of their career. It is not necessary to have completed a short film or published articles. The goal of the initiative is to introduce emerging professionals to the audiovisual industry, helping them to become more familiar with different professionals involved in the field, and start building their own international network.
FORMAT
Up to three professionals from each eligible country could be selected to take part in the official MPV programme and will have a dedicated schedule that includes:
- Introduction to the international audiovisual industry;
- Talent Speed Dating meetings;
- Dedicated Coffee with Decision Makers & Industry Professionals;
- Access to full eMPV 2021 edition, including pitching sessions and panels;
- Visibility in a dedicated part of the official MPV catalogue.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Applicants will be selected based on their motivation letter. Experience is not required, but it is mandatory to be curious about the international audiovisual industry, to be motivated in entering the international industry and to be generous and open to new contacts. National partners will be involved in the selection.
