Polish Film Institute, Independent Film Foundation and ACE Producers sign partnership in Cannes

    10 July 2021 – Polish Film Institute, Independent Film Foundation and ACE Producers sign partnership in Cannes have signed a 5-year partnership to organize the ACE Financing Strategies Workshops and the related ACE Training Days Poland in Warsaw from 2021 to 2025.

    The goal of this long-term partnership is to make a lasting impact on the international professional network and knowledge of local producers, and further strengthen Poland’s international recognition as a top, highly qualified co-production partner.

    ACE Financing Strategies Workshop in Poland will be organized by ACE Producers and Independent Film Foundation, with the financial support of the Polish Film Institute.

    The ACE Training Days is part of ACE Springboard, a combination of programmes focusing on emerging independent producers to strengthen careers at an early stage. The ACE Financing Strategies Workshop is part of the ACE Annual Programme. Each year, 18 new experienced producers are accepted into the ACE Network after completing the ACE programme of executive education.

    ACE Producers, established in 1993, is a leading training organization and network of experienced film producers, providing top quality executive education in European creative producing and entrepreneurialism.

    Polish Film Institute is the main public funding institution supporting and creating conditions for the development of Polish film production and co-productions and the Polish independent film industry, in particular SMEs.

    Independent Film Foundation established in 1999 to promote creativity and the production of films of high artistic value has in its activity such programmes as Polish Film Academy and ScripTeast - master scriptwriting programme for best CEE countries’ scriptwriters.
