Learn to work in a professional writers' room – apply to our program till August 15!

    As one of MIDPOINT Institute’s series-oriented training programs, Writers’ Room is targeting writers and creative producers without a particular project in development whose ambition is to start their careers as writers' room members or showrunners.

    The program is designed not only to train specialized writing skills but also to offer practical knowledge about the organization of a writers’ room, stimulate the creative process and spark new ideas.

    The one-off event spanning over 5 days will provide selected participants with lectures, plotting and writing training, and simulation of a writers' room.

    Fee
    500 EUR per participant (The tuition, full board and accommodation is offered within the participation fee. Travel costs should be covered by the participants themselves.) 

    The program schedule and the form of the organization inevitably depend on the development of the coronavirus pandemic situation.

    MIDPOINT Writers' Room 2021 is realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. MIDPOINT Institute operates under the auspices of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
