With sustainability as one of its five key values, ISI starts this year’s course series emphasising this topic. The unique Sustainability Management Course is to incentivise environmental and socially sustainable management across businesses of all kinds in the Film & TV industry. All sectors of the audio-visual industry need to contribute towards reaching United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Our 360 degrees multi-dimensional Sustainability Approach adds cultural and social aspects (e.g. empowerment and mental well-being) to ecological and economic perspectives. Also embracing the use of new technologies, the aim is to help create an industry that respects the environment and the people within it.

The course is open to all European and beyond film and audio-visual professionals who want to gain deep knowledge in the key areas of sustainability in a business or project context including a variety of helpful practical tools and techniques. Participants should have a project, challenge or sustainability goal(s) in mind to which they can apply the course learnings. Scholarships for Europeans from low-capacity countries are available and also non-Europeans can apply.
