Industry Innovation Forum Tallinn Returns to Shape the Future of European Media and Content

    The Industry Innovation Forum Tallinn (IIFT), formerly European Film Forum Tallinn, Europe's leading executive insight summit for audiovisual and innovation professionals, announces its landmark 10th anniversary edition, scheduled for 20th November 2024.

    The event will run alongside the prestigious Tallinn Digital Summit, creating a unique synergy between political, technological, and creative industry stakeholders. The IFFT is organized by the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival as sidebar of the TDS with the support and mandate of the Creative Europe MEDIA programme of the European Commission.

    This year's IIFT comes at a crucial juncture of “polycrisis”  as the European audiovisual industry navigates multiple transformative challenges, including the shift from producer-centric to audience-centric models, the unprecedented impact of artificial intelligence, evolving financing landscapes, and the growing importance of talent and intellectual property rights.

    Taking place from 13:00 to 16:00 EET at Kultuurikatel, Tallinn, the forum will bring together an exceptional roster of global innovators, content creators, policymakers, and industry executives.

    Thibaut Kleiner - Director at DG Connect, European Commission, leading Europe's digital policy and innovation strategies with extensive experience in competition policy and digital transformation.

    Claudia Bluemhuber - CEO of Silver Reel Media, a pioneering force in European film financing who has produced over 40 international films and series, including Golden Globe-winning productions. 

    Michael Kaufman - Executive Producer at 5x Media, bringing over two decades of international production experience across major platforms and markets.

    Matthew Blakemore - CEO of AI Caramba! and recipient of the 2023 Business UK Tech Visionary Award, renowned for his expertise in AI strategy and digital transformation.

    Christina Caspers - General Manager at TRIXTER, overseeing major VFX projects for clients including Marvel/Disney and leading streaming platforms.

    The event is curated by Sten-Kristian Saluveer, Head of Cannes Next @ Marche Du Film Festival de Cannes, and co-moderated by Kristen Davis, CEO of CinQC, former IT & Innovation Director at New York Times International.  "This year's forum arrives at a pivotal moment for European content creation and distribution", says Saluveer.     The IIFT is organised as part of Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, the industry programme of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, with support from the Creative Europe MEDIA programme of the European Commission.

    Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, taking place on 14-22 November, is a week-long summit for film and audiovisual industry professionals held during the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. In 2024, the summit will provide a whole line of events covering the most sizzling questions in the sector.
