Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier opens the
5th European Television Dialogue on 22 November 2007, in the Federal Foreign Office Berlin
After four successful events in Munich and Budapest the current fifth EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE 2007 takes place in Berlin. Its thematic priorities are:
· Implications of the EU-enlargement on the broadcasting system in Bulgaria and Romania
· IPTV in Central and Eastern Europe
· Media investments between Russia and Western Europe
· Poland in German and Germany in Polish TV-programmes and films
A COMPANY Consulting & Licensing AG as well as the Chairman of the EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE, Reinhard Klimmt (former Prime Minister and former Federal Minister) are expecting numerous prominent speakers and panellists from several European neighbouring countries, Russia and Germany.
The event is organized in collaboration with the State Berlin and Medienanstalt Berlin Brandenburg, co-financed by the European Union and will be carried out with the friendly support of:
Deutsche Welle, eeap, Investitionsbank Berlin, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, Polish Institute Berlin, Price WaterhouseCoopers, ProRom Media Trade, RTL Group, Saxonia Media, SES-Astra and Vattenfall Europe.
