European Film Promotion (EFP) has announced the names of 23 European producers who will participate in the Producers on the Move program at the 2010 Festival du Cannes from May 15-18, 2010. Participants will have ample opportunities to meet industry professionals and present their latest projects at roundtable meetings. The presentations will be moderated by Marit van den Elshout (CineMart Rotterdam), followed by a lunch for the POMs and 150 selected European producers attending this year's Cannes IFF.
European Film Promotion (EFP), which organizes Producers on the Move as well as another prestigious annual event, Shooting Stars, is funded by the MEDIA Programme. CFC has been a member of EFP since 2002, and thereby provides Czech film and industry professionals opportunities to participate in similar promotional events around the world.
