CTAM Europe, the leading cable marketing organization in Europe, has achieved more in 2010 than ever before, through the biggest ever EuroSummit, the annual European cable marketers’ convention, and the increased attendances at its marketing training courses held throughout the year.
Chris Winkelmolen, Chairman of CTAM Europe, said he was delighted with the response of the cable industry in Europe in 2010.
“There has been such a growth in interest within the industry on effective marketing for cable television in 2010” he commented, “which shows that the cable industry is alert to the challenges ahead, and will continue to be leaders in bringing home entertainment to consumers across Europe.”
“We are also cooperating with Cable Europe next year at their Cable Congress in Zurich in February” he added, “where we have three separate marketing tracks.”
EuroSummit 2010, held this year in Budapest, was attended by 325 senior industry executives, the highest ever number since the event first launched in 2003.
The top session featured CNN’s Richard Quest interviewing Liberty Global President Mike Fries, who revealed some of Liberty’s plans for the future in a no-holds-barred indepth live interview in front of a huge crowd of top industry delegates to the EuroSummit.
To round off the year, CTAM Europe, together with research gurus SNL Kagan, is hosting a webinar on December 2nd on the European Cable Broadband Market.
