WARSAW: The third part of a 26-episode series slated for broadcast in Poland and Argentina, Hip-Hip & Hurra, is in the final stage of production. 

BRATISLAVA: Slovak producer/director Juraj Kilián debuts with Intrigues, a coproduction of the four Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) mainly financed by the Visegrad Fund. 

NICOSIA: Stavros Papageorghiou is in postproduction with Kypris - The Great Goddess of Cyprus, a 60 minute documentary offering an exploration of the worship of the goddess Aphrodite from an archeological, mythological, religious, art and tradition perspective. 

WARSAW: Poland’s Braidmade Films teams up with Germany’s 27 Films Productions to co-produce The Fox, a feature film based on the D.H. Lawrence book and directed by Matthias Luthardt.

NICOSIA: Writer/director Stelana Kliris will begin shooting Committed a small budget romantic comedy and road movie on 24 May 2013. 

WARSAW: New Blood (Nowa krew), a documentary about Polish villagers who emigrate to Iceland will go into preproduction in summer 2013. 

WARSAW: One Man Show, the story of struggling 33-year-old actor Marcin Sitek, is midway through a 16 month shoot. 

WARSAW: Blue Notebook, a documentary directed by Natasza Ziółkowska-Kurczuk about 20^th century classical Polish composer Witold Lutosławski, is currently in production.

PLZEN: Producer Ales Hudsky, attending the Finale Plzen film festival for the presentation of upcoming Czech films on 26 April 2013, told FNE that his international coproduction has moved into postproduction following the completion of final filming in Mexico in mid-April.

BUCHAREST: Eliza Zdru is in early development with a 90 minute documentary following the life of the first filmmakers in the Balkans, the Manakia brothers (aka Manaki brothers) and the negative of the picture they took of her great-grandfather, Mita Zdru, in 1923. 

WASHINGTON: Polish director Władysław Pasikowski began filming the final segment of his spy biopic feature film Jack Strong on 21 April 2013 in Washington, D.C.

BUCHAREST: Cannes prize-winning Romanian director Ionuţ Piţurescu is developing a character driven creative documentary exploring the culture and identity of the Aromanians, a Balkan-based Latin minority people also known as Vlachs.

ZAGREB: Croatian director Pavo Marinković is writing and developing The Ministry of Love, a comedy with "modern absurd and classic Gogolian motifs" inspired by Croatian Family Law.

BUCHAREST: Adrian Sitaru (Angling, Best Intentions, Domestic) is developing a feature inspired by true events involving the idea of personal ascent versus loss of innocence.

WARSAW: Krzysztof Zanussi (Persona Non Grata, 2005) has started a 30 day filming schedule on The Foreign Body (Obce ciało), also known as Inner Voice (Głos wewnętrzny).

ZAGREB: Silvana Menđušić is shooting her first documentary, 65 min story about the death of a newspaper and the moral decay preceding cataclysm.
