STRASBOURG: Three Polish coproductions were among the six films from CEE territories that will receive funding from Eurimages.

TALLINN: Eighteen films representing 21 countries will compete in the main competition of the 19th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

LJUBLJANA: Slovenian director Olmo Omerzu’s international coproduction Family Film is among the ten films in the main competition section Perspectives at the 26th Ljubljana Film Festival LIFFe running 11-22 November 2015.

TALLINN: The 14th Baltic Event which runs 16-18 November has selected a total of 54 projects and producers without projects for its four sections, ranging from development pitches to screenings.

WARSAW: A conference entitled New Ways of Distribution organized by the Creative Europe Desk Poland in partnership with the National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers (KIPA) will take place in Warsaw on 29 October 2015.

WARSAW: Summer of Frozen Fountains, a drama directed by Vano Burduli, will premeire internationally at Tallinn Black Nights IFF. The film was showcased at the CentEast Warsaw Works in Progress.

COTTBUS: The feature film competition at the 25th Anniversary of the Cottbus Film Festival, which runs 3-8 November 2015, relies heavily on its Central European roots, with films from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia having an especially strong presence.

JIHLAVA: FNE has teamed up with the 19th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (27 October - 1 November 2015) to introduce you to some of the exciting new talent that will be participating in the Emerging Producers this year.

WARSAW: A jury composed entirely of CEE representatives gave its three awards to films from Central and South America at the 31st Warsaw IFF. Neon Bull (Brazil, Uruguay, Netherlands) directed by Gabriel Mascaro won the Warsaw Grand Prix, and the Mexican film A Monster with a Thousand Heads won best director for Rodrigo Pla and the jury’s special prize for actress Jana Raluy.
