PRAGUE: Ondřej Vavrečka is currently finishing production while already editing his docufiction 1+1+1, which is estimated to be finished in 2023. The Czech/Slovak project was presented at MIA Rome 2022 and in the New Visions Market of the Ji.hlava IDFF 2022.

PRAGUE: Czech director/writer Apolena Rychlíková is currently in postproduction with her documentary The Limits of Europe / Hranice Evropy, which is estimated to be finished in 2023.

FNE correspondent and film critic Alexander Gabelia spoke to Triin Tramberg, Managing Director of Discovery Campus, First Feature Competition programmer and Works in Progress & Script Pool project competition manager, about the main activities and programme of this year’s Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, which will be held 20 – 25 November 2022 within the Tallinn Black Nights FF (11 – 27 November 2022).

PRAGUE: FNE spoke with Jozef Barančik, Unity 3D Developer of Czech/German coproduction Darkening / Tmání about the project, as well as the state of the Czech game development industry. Darkening is directed by Ondřej Moravec and produced by Hana Blaha Šilarová through Frame Films.

TBILISI: Abandoned Village by Georgian director Mariam Kapanadze was awarded the Grand Prix at the 5th edition of the Tbilisi International Animation Festival, which was held in a physical format from 2 to 5 November 2022.

PRAGUE: Czech director/writer Tomáš Klein is currently in postproduction with his feature film A Sensitive Person / Citlivý člověk, which is based on the eponymous novel by Jáchym Topol. The project is estimated to be finished in 2023.
