FNE correspondent Alexander Gabelia spoke with Levan Koguashvili, award winning Georgian film director, about the challenges he has faced as a film director during the pandemic, as well about his last feature film Brighton 4th, produced by Kino Iberica (Georgia), which was screened within the Tbilisi IFF 2021. The film is a coproduction between Georgia, Bulgaria, Russia, Monaco and the USA.
TBILISI: Otar's Death by Georgian director Soso Bliadze was awarded best feature film at the 22nd edition of the Tbilisi International Film Festival. The festival ran from 5 to 12 December 2021.
TBILISI: The Georgian National Film Center has distributed 13,098 EUR / 46,500 GEL to six projects for the creation of a full-length feature film script. The awarded scriptwriters are Maka Kukulava, Dimitri Mamulia, Tamar Bartaia, Guram Bakradze, Giorgi Getiashvili and Levan Tsertsvadze.
TBILISI: Salome Jashi’s documentary film Taming the Garden debuted in cinemas in Germany and Switzerland on 2 December 2021. The film was shortlisted for this year's European Film Awards.

TBILISI: Nine titles have been selected for the Georgian Full-length Fictions Competition of the 22nd edition of the Tbilisi International Film Festival, which will take place in person 5 – 12 December 2021.
