PULA: The Istria Film Commission was launched during the Pula Film Festival as a unit within the Istrian Cultural Agency. It will perform several services free of charge for productions shooting in the region of Istria.
BUCHAREST: Acclaimed Romanian writer/director Nae Caranfil will start shooting 6.9 on the Richter Scale / 6,9 pe scara Richter on 31 August 2015. The film is a Romanian/Bulgarian/Hungarian coproduction with Cristian Mungiu producing through Mobra Films and Jelio Jelev producing through Bulgaria's Jelfilm and Hungary's Cinemafilm, is a contemporary comedy dealing with people’s anxiety about earthquakes.
TBILISI: Nino Gogua is currently in production with The Things, a documentary about the relationship between the Georgian refugees of the Russian-Georgian conflict in 2008 and the things they took with them when leaving their homes.
