BUCHAREST: The Romanian Ministry of Culture, which has a new minister since November 2015, plans to prepare a new Cinema Law by autumn 2016 and to improve the organisation of the National Film Centre.
We launch together with Europa Distribution a new chapter in our Distributor of the Month section focusing on new trends and challenges of film distribution. In the coming months we will talk with European distributors about the digital single market and the VOD, trying to understand how they see the future through these lenses.

TBILISI: Georgia officially launched its tax incentives programme which will go into operation at the beginning of 2016. It will offer a 20% cash rebate of qualified expenditure with an additional rebate of 2-5% based on the promotion value of the production.

SARAJEVO: Alen Drljević is in preproduction with Men Don't Cry, a Bosnian/Slovenian/German/Croatian/Serbian coproduction starring prominent actors Miki Manojlović, Boris Isaković, Leon Lučev and Emir Hadžihafizbegović.
SARAJEVO: Mirjana Karanović's A Good Wife / Dobra žena, a Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian coproduction, was finished just in time for Sundance where it was selected in World Cinema Dramatic Competition.
