WARSAW: Jacek Bromski is working on the fourth instalment of his hit comedy series: In Heaven as It Is on Earth / U Pana Boga za piecem (TVP), God's Little Village / U Pana Boga za miedzą (TVP) and God's Little Garden / U pana boga w ogródku (TVP). The new WFDiF production titled U Pana Boga w Królowym Moście is conceived both as a feature film and TV series.
WARSAW: Jerzy Skolimowski’s drama EO was awarded in six categories at the Polish Film Academy's Polish Eagles, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay.

WARSAW: Academy Award candidate EO directed by Jerzy Skolimowski received the most nominations, 11, for the Polish Film Awards - The Eagles 2023. The winners will be announced during the 25th Eagles Gala on 6 March 2023, at the Polish Theatre in Warsaw.

Poland 06-02-2023WARSAW: Netflix's Forgotten Love / Znachor directed by first time director Michał Gazda and based on the cult novel The Quack / Znachor by Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz, is currently in postproduction in Poland and will premiere in the second half of 2023. Warsaw-based Endemol Shine is producing.
WARSAW: In 2022, the first full year of activity since the COVID-19 pandemic, Poland saw over 40 million admissions in cinemas. In total, 8.4 million viewers watched Polish films in 2022.
WARSAW: Polish actress Joanna Kulig has joined Al Pacino and Marcia Gay Harden in Michael Keaton's noir thriller Knox Goes Away, where Keaton plays the main role.
WARSAW: While Poland is waiting for statutory solutions allowing for the payment of royalties to the creators of productions for their views on streaming services, Netflix is introducing a pilot solution for a remuneration system depending on the popularity of films and series on the platform.
