Germany will have a large presence in Toronto with 24 productions and co-productions
The Toronto International Film Festival is getting ready to roll out the red carpets to welcome film lovers to Toronto as the largest North American film festival from 5 to 15 September, 2024. In total, over 200 films have been programmed to be screened during the 11-day festival. 24 German productions and co-productions will be shown in Toronto.

Bulgarian/German Lessons Win 2024 Sveti Vlas Film Fest
SOFIA: The Bulgarian/German coproduction German Lessons by Pavel Vesnakov received the award for Best Feature Film at the 3rd edition of the Sveti Vlas Film Fest. Stephan Komandarev won Best Director for his Bulgarian/German coproduction Blaga's Lessons, and both films shared the accolades for actors in a leading role.

POTSDAM: Over 70 international film professionals travelled to Potsdam on 3 July 2024 for the 24th edition of German Films Previews, an annual three-day event organised by German Films since 2001.
