ScripTeast's Tilt bows at CentEast

    Tilt, a film by Viktor Chouchkov, based on script developed by Boris Chouchkov and Dimitar Kotzev at the first edition of ScripTeast, will be presented at Cent East film market in Warsaw.
    The projects has been developed during ScripTeast (www.scripteast.pl) under the guidance of Bill Forsyth (Local Hero, Gregory's Girl) and Bern Lichtenberg (Good bye Lenin).

    Tilt, a love story set just before the November 1989 revolutioon, is considered a "generational film on the Bulgarian transition."

    The film is produced by Bulgarian company Chouchkov Brothers Ltd, with Boris Chouchkov as the main producer and Germany's Guido Schwab and Marcel Lenz of Ostlicht Filmproduktion. Tilt received funding from the Bulgarian National Film Center and Bulgarian National Television. It is also the first film to get support from the cultural fund of the Sofia Municipality. German financing came mainly from the MDM regional fund.

    The eight week shoot took place on locations in Germany and Bulgaria, with Yavor Baharov, Radina Kardjilova, Ivailo Dragiev and Ovanes Torosyan in leading roles.

    The film will be released in early 2010, both in Bulgaria and internationally.

    The screening will take place on October 16, at 15.00 in Kino Kultura, Warsaw
