According to the report the total number of films produced in Bulgaria was down by 37%, at 91 full-length and short films. Feature films stayed steady at 21 films, although more films were produced for cinema release than TV release. Bulgaria has 101 licensed TV operators, broadcasting 683,000 hours of programmes. The country has 43 cinemas with 150 screens.
