Christov supervised the visual aspects of the hit film.
Christov, born in 1961, escaped Communist Bulgaria following his 1981 he graduation from the Sofia Higher School for Fine Arts. After a stay at an Austrian refugee camp, he emigrated to the U.S., where he founded a small advertising company.
Christov worked as layout designer and supervisor for Warner Bros, Fox and Universal. He was appointed as Head of Pixar in 1999 and become a key element in the artistic design of several 150 million dollars feature length animations. In films such as Finding Nemo, Cars,and The Incredibles he practiced his main specialty: the combination of real and computer drawings.
His upcoming work includes Toy Story 3 in 2010 followed by Cars 2 in 2011.
