Mutafchiev is an actor who started directing films in 2006 when he made his first short fiction The Pair on the Bridge. In 2007 he won a UN subsidy for Play Tag.
One More Dream is his feature debut and is produced by his company Premier Studio which he founded after several years of experience in a variety of TV shows such as Survivor and The Comedians. Thefinancing of the film’s budget was raised from private sources with main sponsor the Municipal Bank (www.municipalbank.bg).
One More Dream is an action film with criminal elements about four beautiful ladies who decide to stop smoking. They meet at a psychotherapy session and suddenly decide to rob a bank.
The script, written by Hristina Apostolova and Nikolay Mutafchiev was dedicated to the four popular actresses -- Koyna Ruseva, Dilyana Popova, Irena Todorova and Mira Boyadzhieva -- who play using their own names. In the course of their adventures, the four eccentric women meet various characters, including members of the Russian mafia who make porn films and sell weapons, played by actor Deyan Donkov and Nikolay Mutafchiev himself. The film also includes several popular faces from the entertainment business.
The film was made in six months. It will be released in cinemas on 19 October 2012, playing largely in urban multiplexes.
