Kristina Grozeva, Petar Valchanov and Decho Taralezhkov wrote the script based on a real story. It revolves around an honest railway worker, who finds a considerable amount of money and delivers it to the police. As a reward he is offered a modern wristwatch, but his old wristwatch Slava (meaning Glory) gets lost. The worker’s persistence to regain it turns into an epic struggle for the preservation of his personal dignity.
The main characters are played by Stefan Denlyubov and Margita Gosheva. True to their style the director’s duo mixed professional and non-professional actors.
The film was produced by Bulgaria’s Abraxas in coproduction with Greece’s Graal Film. It was supported by the Bulgarian National Film Center and the Greek Film Centre. The Bulgarian National Television also backed the film.
