SOFIA: The 17th Sofia Meetings’ Works in Progress will be held online 27 – 31 May 2020.
The selection of projects, which was announced at the beginning of March (click HERE) was originally scheduled to be presented during the Sofia IFF, which had to be cancelled at the last minute because of the COVID-19 crisis.
A total of 27 projects will be pitched, including 22 feature films, two documentaries and three short films. The pitching will be held on the Festival Scope website.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
