Born in 1969 in Zürich, Switzerland, Cvetko spent most of his career working in Croatian film and theatre, especially in the Gavella Theatre in Zagreb. He had his film debut in A Summer to Remember directed by Bruno Gamulin and produced by Zagrebfilm in 1990.
After that Cvetko had remarkable roles in You Carry Me by Ivona Juka (produced by 4film), The Queen of the Night by Branko Schmidt (produced by the Croatian Radiotelevision), Hush by Lukas Nola (produced by Kinorama), People's Hero Ljiljan Vidić by Ivan-Goran Vitez (produced by Interfilm) and Even Pigs Go to Heaven by Goran Dukić (produced by Švenk), in addition to numerous roles in Croatian TV shows.
