Inspired by the legendary film One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away filmed by Krešo Golik in 1970, the second season of the series follows the main protagonist Perica (Živko Anočić) and his wife Nada (Iva Babić) as they are trying to navigate parenthood and other challenges of adulthood, while the return of a famous music manager to Zagreb puts Perica’s career at the crossroads.

“We’re making a romantic pop story set in the summer of love in 1967, moving from a polite schlager times of the 60s to the slightly more provocative 70s, with their booming rock scene and a hint of football, as that was the year of great international success for Dinamo Zagreb,” said creative producer and the author of the project Albino Uršić.

The screenwriters are Vinko Brešan and Marko Hrenović in collaboration with Sandra Antolić, Renato Baretić and Nikolina Bogdanović.

The cast includes Mirjana Bohanec Vidović, Csilla Barath Bastaić, Dušan Bučan, Nikola Kojo, Ana Begić Tahiri, Goran Navojec, Pjer Meničanin, Hana Hegedušić and Rade Šerbedžija.

The filming started on 3 April 2024 and will last throughout May 2024 in the Croatian cities of Zagreb, Rijeka and Opatija.

The six-episode season will premiere on Croatian Television in the autumn of 2024.
