NICOSIA: The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency has invited producers from Bollywood, Hollywood and Pinewood along with a contingent of international representatives from around the world to a film summit taking place from 9 to 12 October.
Between 70 – 80 international producers among a total of 120 film professionals are expected to attend.
The summit will introduce both the locations and the local industry to its foreign guests, in an effort to put Cyprus on the international film production map.
The summit comes on the heels of the introduction of the country’s film incentives scheme, which offers cash rebates and tax credits of up to 35%.
