PRAGUE: The Czech film Alois Nebel is one of three contenders for the European Film Academy’s (www.europeanfilmacademy.org) 2012 animated feature film award.
The black and white film Czech/Germany/Slovak coproduction and the feature film debut of director Tomáš Luňák. Alois Nebel was produced by Negativ (www.negativ.cz) together with Slovak coproducer Tobogang (www.tobogang.com).
The other competing films are Wrinkles (Spain) directed by Ignacio Ferreras and The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists (UK/US) directed by Peter Lord. The European Film Awards will be held in Malta on 1 December 2012.
