The competition films include the following films from Central and Eastern Europe: A Lady in Paris (Estonia/France/Belgium, www.amrion.ee) directed by Ilmar Raag; My Dog Killer (Slovakia, Czech Republic, www.mirafox.sk) directed by Mira Fornay; Rocker (Romania, www.mandragora.ro) directed by Marian Crisan; Touchless (Czech Republic, www.cinemart.cz) directed by Matěj Chlupáček ; and Viva BelaRus (Poland, www.wfdif.com.pl) directed by Krzysztof Lukaszewicz.
The festival opening films include the Oscar-nominee Kon-Tiki which was filmed in Malta.
Among the festival’s distinguished guests will be Polish actor/director Jerzy Stuhr who will receive the Kristian award for his Contribution to World Cinema.
