The second feature by Petr Jákl follows a group of documentary filmmakers travelling to Ukraine following the steps of Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, known as the Rostov Ripper, the Red Ripper and the Rostov Butcher, who committed sexual assaults, murders and mutilations of a minimum of 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990.
A US. company Genesy is producing. According to Praguepost.com, the film’s executive producers are Rob Cohen, who directed the first Fast and Furious and shot part of xXx in Prague, Joe Lynch and Luke Rivett. The main characters are played by American actors Jennifer Armour, Jeremy Isabella and Paul S. Tracey. The international premiere will take place in Los Angeles.
The project took four years to complete. Petr Jákl is currently working on Warrior of God, a biopic of a national hero Jan Žižka produced by Three Brothers Production.
